Rolls-Royce said its new Spectre, starting at $413,000, is currently expected to have an all-electric range of 320 miles and accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds.
“This is the start of a bold new chapter for our marque, our extraordinary clients, and the luxury industry,” Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos said. “For this reason, I believe Spectre is the most perfect product that Rolls-Royce has ever produced.”
Cadillac also announced its own luxury electric Celestiq model, beginning at $300,000. It is also expected to be available in late 2023.
In 1900 Charles Rolls stated that electric power was very well suited to his company’s cars. Fast-forward over a century and that prediction is coming true with this, the Rolls-Royce Spectre, the first ever fully-electric production ready Rolls-Royce.
